I married my friend when I was twenty,
I became a mother at twenty-two,
A mother of two at twenty-three,
A mother of three at twenty-five.
Now thirty-five, without a life.
No more nights out with friends,
That came to an end.
I am blessed with this life,
I share with my family,
’cause without them,
I’d no longer be a wife, a mother and a friend.
